This device was developed in co-operation with the IGI in Antwerp over 30 years ago and has been continuously updated with innovations. 

The examination is carried out using transmitted light and the stones are placed on a dop. This provides a completely clear view into the stone. For the lower part, simply turn the stone over. Because it can be rotated 360° and swivelled approx. 25°. All facets can be seen by moving the disc and using the mirror. Also any engravings on the rondiste.
